This certificate of appreciation pays tribute to healthcare workers around the world who are serving during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Mars 2020 Perseverance rover team affixed an aluminum plate to the rover to show their appreciation and to honor their service. This certificate features an image of the metal plate on the rover. Download and print it for a healthcare worker you know who persevered during the pandemic.
Your vaccinations will show in reverse order, with the most recent first. This is also the case if you download a PDF of your NHS COVID Pass for travel, or store it within the Apple Wallet or Google Pay Wallet.
However, if you download and save or print a copy of your NHS COVID Pass, the expiry date will eventually show as expired and will not automatically refresh. You will need to log into the NHS COVID Pass service to generate a new copy. Proof of prior infection (recovery) is only valid for 180 days.
A certificate of recovery will be available from 11 days after a positive test and will be valid for no more than 180 days after you test positive. Instead of calling the Digital COVID Certificate helpline, you can now fill out an online form to request a certificate of recovery.
These countries can issue vaccination certificates which are seen as equivalent to the EU DCC when scanned in an EU country. For information on the uses of the EU DCC in each country please visit the relevant country page on Re-Open EU.

In May 2023, the WHO announced that Covid-19 no longer constitutes a public health emergency of international concern. Hence, the EU Digital Covid Certificate Regulation will not extend beyond 30 June 2023. The Swedish eHealth Agency will consequently stop issuing the EU digital Covid certificate (EU DCC) from 1 July 2023.
NOTE: To get a death certificate for a death that occurred in the New York City area [the boroughs of Manhattan, Kings (Brooklyn), Queens, Bronx, and Richmond (Staten Island)], please contact the NYC Department of Health Vital Records: NYC Death Certificates
Applicants from the rest of New York State can request a copy of a death certificate from the local Registrar of Vital Statistics where the death took place. Or, you may order a copy at any time from the DOH BVR here: Death Certificates.
When you apply for the death certificate, you must ask that it include the Cause of Death (COD) section. Be sure to tell the official you speak to that the death certificate is for FEMA COVID-19 Assistance.
Any corrections to the medical portion of a death certificate must be started by the Medical Certifier who completed the original death certificate. They must provide the cause of death based on available medical records. The Medical Certifier is named on the death certificate.
To reach the Medical Certifier, you can contact the facility (hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility, or hospice) where the death occurred, or a funeral director if they filed the death certificate with state or local vital records authorities.
The European Commission and the EU countries have defined a common approach for uniform and interoperable proofs of vaccination (vaccination certificates). The Commission and the EU members have also worked together for efficient contact tracing and warning apps.
A EU Digital COVID Certificate (EU DCC) is a digital proof that a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, has recovered from COVID-19 or has a test result. Therefore, the EU Digital COVID Certificate refers collectively to 3 types of certificates: vaccination, recovery and test.
As vaccination efforts are progressing in EU countries, vaccinated people receive proofs of vaccination, also called vaccination certificates. They are useful in travel situations, but might also be useful in healthcare situations, especially if a person uses services of different healthcare organisations, possibly in different countries. Most EU Member States now also require EU DCCs to be presented for domestic situations such as access to restaurants, cultural sites and events, workplaces, etc.
Some Member States have established specific travel rules for people that have recently recovered from the COVID-19 disease. Instead of a test or vaccination certificate, such persons can be requested to present a recovery certificate.
The eHealth Network has published detailed technical specifications describing mechanisms for the interoperability of vaccination, test and recovery certificates (formats and trust management, the EU DCC gateway, 2D barcode, applications, public key certificate governance). In addition, detailed technical structure and value sets to be used in the contents of the EU Digital COVID Certificates are available. Reference implementations are available and have been published as open source.
The process for joining is described in the Third Country EU Digital COVID certificate Equivalence Decision procedure complemented by three Annexes (I. Evaluation Checklist, II. Technical Procedure, III. Application Form). See also additional information on the Reciprocity and data protection (Word version).
For certificates based on negative RT-PCR tests, a Digital COVID Certificate will be provided by the private RT-PCR testing service. Certificates based on a RT-PCR are valid for 72 hours after the test was taken.
Anyone who has been vaccinated, tested negative or who has recovered from COVID-19 can download and/or consult their CovidCheck Certificate online on MyGuichet.lu.
The CovidCheck Certificates available in the private eSpace on MyGuichet.lu contain a secure QR code that allows to check the authenticity and validity of the certificates. This QR code can be scanned with:
Since 1 July, the Covid certificates allow you to travel more easily within the European Union. If you have been vaccinated, recently had a negative Covid test or recently recovered from a Covid-19 infection, since 1 July, you can use one of these certificates to prove that you can travel Covid-safe.
A single person can have several certificates. A certificate is created for each vaccination dose and each test. Vaccination certificates also indicate for which vaccination the certificate has been issued, e.g. whether this is the first or second dose of a specific type of vaccine. Each shot thus generates a new certificate, each time with a maximum validity period.
The certificates are a European agreement and contain a unique QR code. EU Member States scan this code, allowing them to check whether the certificate is correct and valid. The certificate is drawn up in English and in the three national languages.
If you have difficulties to access the internet, you can also call 02/214.19.19. Via an automatic selection menu, you can choose to have your certificate sent to your eBox 24/7, if you have already activated this tool, or to have it sent by post to your official address. Please take into account that there is a delivery period of 5 working days. Test and recovery certificates are not sent by post.
Until now, users were only able to download the certificate via Aarogya Setu app. The MyGov Corona Helpdesk chatbot on WhatsApp now lets you download the certificate. This bot was introduced back in March 2020 to help answer COVID-19 related questions and prevent misinformation around the coronavirus pandemic.
Once you get the first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, then you will get the vaccine certificate. In case you are unaware, if you are planning to travel anywhere in India or outside the country, then you will be required to show your final vaccination certificate.
Note: If your WhatsApp number is different from the one you registered on CoWin to get vaccinated, then you will not get OTP. So then you will have to download the certificate from the Arogya Setup app.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is creating a specific system to enable foreign tourists who have been vaccinated with vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency or their equivalents to obtain a COVID certificate which is valid in France.
The certificate aims to facilitate people's safe and free movement within and outside Portugal, as well as access to certain spaces and events. It can be used in all European Union Member States, in the Schengen Area countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland), and in several non-EU countries and territories.
